ST. LOUIS, July 28th, 2025 – Anders partner-in-charge of Advisory David Hartley, CPA has been appointed chair of the MOCPA Educational Foundation Board. The MOCPA Educational Foundation supports the growth of Missouri’s accounting profession by connecting educators and firms to attract and prepare the next generation of CPAs. Through scholarships, resources and program support, it helps students succeed on the CPA exam and build lasting careers. David’s appointment reflects a career defined by strategic leadership and a deep commitment to developing future talent. His long-standing dedication to education and mentoring positions him to play a key role in supporting the next generation of accounting professionals.

With a background in C-suite leadership and consulting, he focuses on driving growth in middle-market businesses through innovation and technology. As a former chief information officer, he integrates technological expertise with CPA proficiency to guide the strategic direction of Anders’ advisory services.

Prior to his appointment as the foundation’s board chair, David was honored by the Missouri Society of CPAs with the “Impact Award: Outstanding Visionary” in November 2018 and was later elected to serve on the MOCPA Board of Directors for 2020–2023.
